The Talmud teaches us that our main mitzvot in live are honoring our parents, being kind, going to learn, hospitality, visiting the sick….making peace, and that “the study of Torah is equivalent to them all.” We go on to learn that study of Torah is essential because it leads to action.
In Shirat Hayam’s new adult education series, Rabbi Rachel will be teaching and leading discussions on upcoming holidays and other Jewish topics. These will be based on practical observances, and their reasons. All are welcome, from the beginner to the advanced student.
*all classes will be held from 7-8:30 PM in the Synagogue.
